Congo Falls Park

Congo Falls Park is located inside Congo Nature Preserve and borders Little River Canyon National Preserve in Cherokee County Alabama.

Congo Falls Park opened to the public Summer of 2021.

Access for swimming, hiking, sightseeing, picnicking, or parking at Congo Falls Park requires a single use permit from April 1st to October 1st. 
Permits are not required from October 2nd to March 31st.

Boater/Kayaker season permits are available at no charge, but only from September 1st to  April 30th and subject to approval.
